The Book You're Writing

Your manuscript in — an edited, produced, retail-ready book out

One team of specialists, not a single generalist.

Most manuscripts don't fail because the writing is bad. They fail because nobody stayed with the author long enough to find out what the book was trying to be. So we built a practice around specialists instead: a dedicated editor reads your pages, a producer builds your audiobook, a director shoots your trailer — and one project lead keeps it all moving. Every genre is welcome, from literary fiction to fantasy, romance, memoir, non-fiction and children's books.

Services

Eight specialities. One team behind every one of them.

Every service is run by a specialist in that craft. Book the whole journey from manuscript to launch, or just the piece you're missing.

01
Editing

Manuscript Editing & Refinement

Three levels of editing, chosen for where your draft actually is — not for what a package sheet says you need.

For authors in every genre — fiction, non-fiction, memoir, poetry, fantasy, romance, thriller, children's, academic and everything between
  • Developmental edit — structure, pacing, character arcs, argument logic, and a written editorial letter
  • Line edit — voice, rhythm, clarity and scene-level tightening, sentence by sentence
  • Proofreading — a final pass for grammar, consistency, and typesetting errors before release
  • Two rounds of questions after delivery, answered by your editor
02
Audiobook

Audiobook Production

From script preparation to a retail-ready master, produced to Audible and Spotify technical standards.

For authors ready to reach listeners, whether you narrate yourself or hire a voice
  • Script prep and pronunciation guide built from your manuscript
  • Narration — a matched voice from our roster, or coaching if you narrate
  • Editing, proofing to text, mastering and ACX/Findaway-compliant delivery
  • Distribution guidance: rights, exclusivity, royalty share vs. flat fee
03
Trailer

Book Trailer Production

A short cinematic trailer that gives your book a face on social feeds, retail pages and ad campaigns.

For any author launching, relaunching or advertising a title in any genre
  • Script and storyboard written from your manuscript's hook
  • Cinematic visuals, licensed music and professional voice-over
  • Cuts sized for YouTube, Instagram, TikTok and Amazon A+ content
  • Captioned versions and a thumbnail set ready to upload
04
Placement

Goodread Listing & Placement

Getting your title in front of the readers already browsing for the kind of book you wrote.

For authors who want reach beyond their own mailing list
  • Bookshere profile and listing built and optimised for you
  • Genre, category and comparable-title positioning
  • Blurb and hook rewritten for browse pages
  • Scheduled feature placement around your launch window
05
Preview

BookPreview Sample Pages

A polished look-inside experience so readers can sample your writing before they buy.

For every author publishing an ebook, print edition or audiobook
  • Curated opening sample chosen to convert browsers into readers
  • Beautifully typeset preview for web, retail and social sharing
  • Matching audio preview clip when you have an audiobook
  • Shareable preview link for newsletters and ARC readers
06
Campaigns

Engage Waves Reader Campaigns

Sustained waves of reader engagement — reviews, early readers and steady visibility after launch week.

For authors who want momentum that lasts longer than release day
  • ARC and early-reader outreach in your genre
  • Review-generation waves timed across your first months
  • Social and newsletter content built from your book's best lines
  • Simple reporting so you can see what moved
07
Formatting

Interior Formatting & Cover Consulting

The quiet craft that makes an independently published book read like a house title on the shelf.

For independent authors publishing through KDP, IngramSpark or Draft2Digital
  • Print interior typesetting with proper front and back matter
  • Reflowable ebook files for Kindle, Apple Books and Kobo
  • Cover art direction and genre positioning review with your designer
  • Metadata, categories and keyword review before you hit publish
08
Strategy

Publishing Strategy & Ghostwriting

A clear plan for the book you have — or a writing partner for the book still in your head.

For first-time authors weighing their options, and experts who need a co-writer
  • Path review: traditional query, hybrid, or independent publishing
  • Query letter, synopsis and proposal development
  • Launch timeline with realistic milestones
  • Ghostwriting and collaborative writing from interviews or notes

Questions

Things clients ask us first.

How long does an ebook take?
Most projects take 1-2 weeks from approved outline to final files, depending on length and how much writing versus editing is needed.
How do I know my manuscript is ready?
It's ready for a developmental edit when the draft is complete, even if it's messy. It's ready for a line edit once the structure is settled. If you're unsure, send it anyway — I'll read a sample and tell you plainly where it stands.
Who owns the rights to the finished ebook?
You do, fully and exclusively, the moment your final invoice is paid. We're happy to sign an NDA before any material changes hands.
I only have an idea, not a draft — can you still help?
Yes — most clients start exactly there. We build the outline and write the manuscript from your notes, voice memos or a short interview.
What formats do you deliver?
PDF, EPUB and MOBI as standard, plus print-ready interior files if you need a physical edition later.
How do revisions work?
Every package includes two rounds of revisions after delivery, handled directly with the specialist who did the work.
